Concerto

We went out for a bit of culture in Venice. An evening with Antonio Vivaldi in a nice little church. The band was great- we got some promo shots, t-shirts and hung out in the green room afterwards.
Actually, the cellist was very rock. He looked a little bit Dave Grohl and had lead guitar attitude with turn-away head snaps and hair flicks.
The violinists took turns leading the Four Seasons and the harpsichord and double bass filled out the sound.

This is a regular gig in Venice and the almost entirely foreign audience enjoyed the beautiful combined atmosphere of church, statues and light classical tunes.

And of course there was that one person who always wanted to be the first to start clapping at the end of a piece just to indicate their intricate knowledge of the composition.
