In the air today

Half days of school for the kids. Anika is playing in a band and eating food at a school international day. Arkady has to do a speech in class. Last minute packing and cat farewelling. Squeezed our travel bags into one tiny VW Golf boot. Our bigger Toyota burst a blood vessel and is suffering from hypertension as well as a poor timing belt. So it's out of action 'til we return... and we get to the airport slightly compressed. I'd like to thank our car manufacturer sponsors. Take off around 4.30pm.
Rumour has it that the rest of the family may contribute to the blog too.

  1. Doei from Australia. Just thought I would throw in a bit of local colour to help you settle in. Hope the flights were ok and that you have now caught up on your backlog of must-watch movies. I imagine that the trees over there will be in bud or in flower so Amsterdam should be lovely. Enjoy the beer and cheeses, and have a plate of mosselen et friet for me.
